I started drawing
children's books.
Then Silicon Valley
got in the way.
I've always been someone who loves making things. Before software, it was children's books and illustrations. Today it might be a felted dog, a watercolor painting, or a tiny miniature bookstore that takes far longer than it should.
I have a habit of collecting hobbies. Not because I want to master every craft, but because I genuinely enjoy learning how things are made. Every new medium teaches me to see problems a little differently.
Somewhere along the way, that curiosity found its way into product design. I realized I wasn't just interested in creating things: I was fascinated by understanding how they worked. Different outlets but the same instinct still drives me: learn, make, improve, repeat.
These days I'm based in San Francisco Bay Area, usually with a matcha in hand and another hobby waiting to be started. Open to what's next.

I was obsessed long before it became a trend, and now I'm lucky there are more cafés to explore.
Part of the fun is discovering how differently each place approaches the same drink. The same ingredients can produce completely different flavors depending on the technique, tools, and tiny decisions behind them. I love collecting those, and borrowing a few ideas to experiment with mine at home.
Living in the Moment with Remy
With my senior dog, Remy, I've been reminded that time and plans aren't something to save for later.
Walks are shorter, mornings are slower, and I've learned to stop rushing through the ordinary moments, because those become the most meaningful. Whether it's finding a new beach or simply basking in the sun together, the best memories aren't always planned: they're noticed.
Constantly Crafting My Curiosity
My place has slowly turned into an art supply store. Watercolors, acrylics, needle felting wool, miniature book nooks, puzzles: every few months something new catches my attention.
Whether or not I become an expert, I just love the feeling of learning something with my hands. There's something incredibly satisfying about understanding how something is made, even if it's only for a season before the next curiosity comes along.
